Blake Harvey was born in Austin, Texas and is currently traveling throughout Latin America. He has obtained two degrees from the University of Florida: a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography, and a Master of Arts in Urban and Regional Planning degree. Freed from his cubicle, Blake currently works remotely as an energy information researcher. Blake’s true passion, however, is environmental conservation. The purpose of this blog is to express that passion, through the use of short essays, photos, and video exploring conservation issues in some of the world’s most beautiful natural places – with a particular focus on Blake’s home state of Florida.
In his spare time, Blake enjoys hiking, cycling, surfing, pub trivia quizzes, and clumsily practicing Spanish. To contact him, click here.
